You've helped me so much! Now....I have an event spanning three days, thanks to your help. I have it shadowed and everything just the way I want it. (I used the Modify Event, then the Repeat Rule box, then the Every Day selection, etc. just as you said) But I can't get it centered on the three days. The bordering is centered on the three days, but the event text appears only on the first day. Help!

Thanks again for all you've done.

Hi Ida,

If you set the Event as a Box Event, the same text should appear in each of the three days, in separate text boxes for each day cell.

If you set the Event as a Banner Event, the text should appear only once. But, the text should appear centered in the three-day span, in one single text box that spans the three days.

I have not been able to force text to appear only on the first day of a three-day event. So, I'm not exactly sure of the best way to fix your problem.

When you click once on the three-day event, do you see that the dotted line indicator for the text box of the event actually spans only the desired three days? Or, do you see that the dotted line indicator for the text box spans more than the desired three days?

The only suggestion I can think of at the moment would be to double-click on each day of the three-day event, then make sure that the exact same settings (Box or Banner, Repeat Rule, Every Day selection, shadowing, bordering, Start Date, End, Date, etc.) are selected for each day of the event. If this doesn't help to solve your problem, please describe exactly which options you have selected on the Modify Event box, and exactly which text you are attempting to place in this three-day event.
