I'm a new user. How do I get a photo from the scanner to the card I'm making? I need step by step because I was able to just hit "get photo from scanner" in my old card program.

From your scanning program, save your scans as JPG to a preferred location such as My Photos.

In Print Shop 23, open your card project. You get graphics from the Art Gallery. From the Art Gallery window:

File| Open from disk... browse to the location of your desired photo.

This picture should help. I've highlighted the File| Open from disk... From the Open Picture From Disk window, you must browse to the location you stored the scan. When you see its filename or thumbnail, click it, then click Open.

If your scan is not showing up in the window, make sure the Files of type: is All Files (*.*)

Also make sure you saved your scan. Note the name you saved it as and note the location you save it to. Scanning a photo does not automatically save it with a filename and location.
