Is there any way to flip from landscape to portrait once you have started a project? Can you change templates from one to the other?

Edit> Change Project Size/Type...

This allows you to switch from landscape to portrait.

You can also change templates, but not drastically, like business card to greeting card. Square to letter size, for example, works fine, as does 4x6 half-fold card to 5x7 half-fold card.

I was trying to get a sideways cross in landscape to flip to a standing cross in portrait. The change project size, changed the direction of the paper but no the cross on the background.

To edit a graphic, you edit the graphic directly. Graphics can be flipped, rotated, stretched, etc.

I cannot seem to rotate the image, because it is the background. I cannot click on it to be able to edit it.

Export the project (with just the background) as JPG. Then bring the JPG into the project and rotate the JPG.
