I'm trying to make a book mark. However when I paste the text I choose in the text box and adjust the text box as I try to find the size I want, I find that the text stays where it is. It does not adjust with the text box. What can I do to stop this problem.
Thanks for your help.

Changing the size of the text box does not change the font size of regular text. It changes the boundaries so that the text rewraps to fit the new boundaries. Only Headlines text change size when you drag the corners.

1st of all....thanks for your help.
I did try to do what I think you said but it still didn't work.
I tried it with both a TEXT BOX and also inside a shape box.
I pasted a paragraph in both. Than by dragging the arrow out than in I changed the size of each box. But, each time the text on both sides of the box just disappeared. The text didn't change at all when I changed the size of the box.
I tried highlighting the text and pressed "wrap" but nothing happened. I really want to keep this program. because of the clip are and also I was use of using a much older version so I felt very comfortable purchasing it again,
but it seems that everything I'm trying to do to finish my project is not working. I do need to play with the text box to resize because I also design brochures and I resize the text box often to make everything
fit. Do I have the wrong program in your opinion to do the things I need to do.

You had mentioned you are copying and pasting. Where are you copy and pasting from? While The Print Shop has the ability to copy and paste, the results of it may be slightly flaky because of the content formatting from the external source.

OK, that is weird, the text should be rewrapping automatically when you change the proportions of a text box (don't use text in a shape - rewrap doesn't work at all well in that scenario).

I found that sometimes I had to click outside of the text box for the rewrapping to "take".

Also, as Jason points out, copying text from another source where that text contained special formatting, may cause problems. I often paste into Notepad first, then copy and paste to Print Shop. Notepad strips out the formatting.

Text rewrapping is working in my program. It seems a little jerky as it is happening, but the results do appear as expected. Do try clicking outside the box and perhaps move it back and forth, if the rewrap isn't instantaneous.

p.s. copy/pasted the words at the bottom of the forum page without any problems.

Been away for a while. But, I did try typing text in text box, highlighting it, then clicking out side the box and it did adjust. Thanks so much for your help. I will try creating the brochure and see how it works.

That's great! If you have any other questions about designing your brochure, please post back.
