In the current version of Calendar Creator, the "Advanced Repeat" rules do not appear to be functioning correctly. When I attempted to set up a "first Monday in September" rule for Labor Day (U.S.), no event appeared at all, anywhere during the year, and I had to start over (unable to click on the event to edit it, because it was altogether gone). I tried several ways, and could get the holiday to show up on multiple weeks (Mondays) AFTER the first week, but never on the first Monday in anything I could think of to try. This was a pretty straightforward function in CC12.
What am I doing wrong?

I don't have this program, but saw this previous post regarding setting repeat rules. Hope it helps.

Thanks. I did figure that out - similar in approach to the original Calendar Creator application.
What the older application did better was setting the exceptions or setting the holidays that don't fall on the same date every year.
I think what is becoming evident is that the new version is, generally, inferior in capabilities to the older version.
Too bad.

I also think the new CC has less functionality, but is well suited to making printed photo calendars as gifts.

For simplicity of use and good functionality, I use the free Google calendar app. Very easy to set an event to "first Monday of every month", for example.
