Each time I click the Desktop icon for Printshop 4.0 Deluxe , the User Account Control prompts for permission. The User Account Control is set to "Don't notify me when I make changes to Windows settings" How to resolve this problem. Thanks.

Right click on the desktop icon, then select Properties. Click on the compatibility tab and then uncheck Run program as Administrator

If unchecking this causes the program to act strange, you have a restricted user account or something else is wrong with the program access permissions on your system.

Some computers that I've worked with have this behavior when the desktop icon is installed. This only makes the program work correct and does not affect anything else on the system when it comes to UAC.

Perhaps Microsoft Support may be best to address the issue of UAC not acting as expected.
