Just installed PS5, and I spent a *lot* of time today finding out all the PS file extensions, and then searching my computer for them to import into PS5.

This could be a LOT easier if PS5 searched for them itself. Thank goodness for the free hard drive search program Everything.

So we're off to a frustrating start...

I take it you didn't save all your Print Shop projects in one folder?

When importing projects from version 23, some things don't convert 100%. This thread may help you with tips to fix those things.

Didn't know that was a good idea, they're saved under each project's folder. And who could possibly remember all the filename extensions. I think PS5 should search for them.

It may be easier to identify them by sight. By default, all those old projects get saved in My Documents. Sort the files by type, in the My Documents folder, and you should be able to quickly ID the Print Shop ones.

In the really old program (e.g. version 10 and 11), the projects were saved in a subfolder of the Print Shop folder. So again, they were easy to find by going to that folder.

HI, I just purchased version 5.0 and have old PS 22 files in a folder and can't open them or find no help or tool toupgrade them to current version file format. I looked online in KB and FAQ with no luck. Any suggestions?

Thank you!

From the upper left drop down, click Open, then the blue crown...
