I currently have CC Deluxe v12 installed on my computer. I just purchased CC Deluxe v12.2. When I install this newer version, will it preserve my current custom settings? Does it install over top of the existing version or does it remove the existing version before installing the new one?

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Bruce

I believe the best usual advice is to uninstall the older version before installing the new. Jason?

Most important is to back up any calendars (.bcc files) that you've created.

If you've used your own art, I'll assume that it's saved somewhere outside of the CC program folders.

The install put the program in a new folder and did not ask to remove the old version. Both versions are still installed and operational-- I will delete the old version eventually.

I realize that v12.2 is now Windows 10 compliant, but unfortunately it comes at a big cost-- using 2.9GB of disk space instead of just 293MB. I'm guessing some of that is due to the fact that v12 provides an install option to NOT load all of the voluminous artwork and accessing from the DVD instead. v12.2 does not supply this option (as far as I can tell), which is a HUGE disappointment.
