ljokelley -> playing games without disc in drive (1/19/2006 3:57:03 PM)
Why can't I access and play Hoyle Card games, which is installed on my PC, without the disc loaded in the drive?
Any help is appreciated.

2004 versions and before were coded to require the disc in the drive. This was Sierras original method of copy protection.
The 2005 versions of Hoyle Games do not require the CD in the Drive.
If you are getting a please insert CD message in Hoyle Card Games 2005, then you have chosen a custom installation and must install the full game to the hard drive using the default install option.
