treetop1a -> Time error caused by Hoyle Board Games 2005 (4/10/2006 10:45:45 AM) I recently installed Hoyle Board Games 2005. Soon after, the computer time started displaying the wrong time. Just opening the Hoyle Board Games program starts the error, without opening any of the individual games. I am running a Dell 2.53 Ghz processor with I GB of RAM, Windows XP Professional with SP2, and the most recent updates. At first, I thought that my system battery was bad, but I installed the new battery, and the time remains correct for days until I open the Hoyle Board Games 2005. Is this a known problem, and is there a fix? Thank you, CJ

bcdobbs -> RE: Time error caused by Hoyle Board Games 2005 (4/10/2006 1:22:48 PM) There have been several users who have had this problem with Hoyle games, including myself. Replacing the system battery resolved my own oroblem and that is what we have been recommending to other users. Since this did not fix your problem, you might try one other thing which does not make a lot of sense but seems to help others. Try excluding the Hoyle games from your virus-scanner if it has the ability to allow such an action. If not, try turning the scanner off before launching the games and see what happens.
