Are you saying that you have 53 pages of photos in one project? Wow. I had no idea a project could get this big. Yes, indeed, I do believe you have hit the maximum although I don't know if there is an actual MB size that is the same for all computers.
Start another photo album project, "Book Two" or something. Just like real albums, you can only fit so many pages into it.
