I am trying to install keep sakes scrapbook designer but get an 1304 error writing to file ...c:/program files/command file/broderbund/core fonts/englt_.TTF Verify that you have access to that directory.

Hi Eleanor,

The 1304 error message you are receiving is often the result of attempting to install software on WinXP, Win2000 or WinVista while logged onto the system with a Limited User Account.

Limited User Accounts do not have the proper permissions to install software. ONLY Computer Administrator accounts have the proper permissions to install software.

So, if you are using WinXP, Win2000 or WinVista, the first thing you'll want to do is to make sure you are logged onto the computer with a Computer Administrator account BEFORE you attempt to install (or uninstall) any software.

Then, after logging onto the computer with a Computer Administrator account, you'll want to be sure to do a 'clean' install, exactly as described in this FAQ
