Hi michaelw,

If there is any way to make banners 11 inches tall instead of 8.5, I certainly can't find it. It looks to me like the default option for Banners in Print Shop is to have the Banners formatted in 8.5 inches tall Landscape orientation.

As you may have already seen, the Tall format option will position the sheets of paper in 11 inches tall Portrait orientation. But, you would then end up with a Tall (vertical) banner rather than a Wide (horizontal) banner, which I'm sure is not what you are striving for.

I was able to do it by selecting a custom size paper and switching the height and width values.

Hi ellengard,

Are you saying that you were able to switch the height and width values in Printer Properties? I tried doing that, too. But, neither my Lexmark printer nor my Epson printers will allow Paper Width to be larger than 8.5".

Or, did you use the Custom Paper Wizard? If so, which stock type did you use?

It's annoying that PrintShop doesn't make it really easy to do banners, portrait/horizontal orientation because both PrintMaster and Creating Keepsakes Scrapbook Designer DO and they are smaller scale versions of PrintShop!

Anyway, to answer your question, my default printer was PDF so switching the x-y values was easy. I didn't realize my regular printer wasn't the default or I would have said something about PDF. I printed the PDF file and it came out perfectly as a 11" high, 2-page wide banner.
