Robertj -> e-mail card images and animated greetings (5/19/2007 8:05:54 AM)

I want to know the steps for inserting card images into e-mail messages so that recipient doesn't have to mess around with opening file attachments. This should include 'Animated Greetings'.

Hi, Robert,

Design your PM card project, then export the page(s) as JPG or GIF. Those JPG or GIF files can be inserted into your e-mail message, if you are using "rich text formatting".

Or you can attach the JPGs. Most e-mail programs automatically display JPGs so the recipient doesn't have to open any special program to view them.

The best way to create your animated greeting is to export it as SWF format. Attach it to your e-mail. SWF files can be opened by the web browser so it shouldn't be a problem for your recipient.

If you have a web host, you can upload the SWF file to your webspace. Then you just e-mail the link to your recipient.
