Hi nyhank,
Following is the text from a Broderbund Technical Note which discusses lines on the print:

When printing a project using PrintMaster® 17, horizontal lines appear on the printed text or graphics or both. A print setting typically causes this issue. Changing the print setting within the program will help resolve the issue. The procedure is described in this note.
Complete these steps to change the print setting within PrintMaster® 17.
1. Start the PrintMaster® program and open or create a project.
2. Click File on the main menu and select Print. The print window will open.
3. Click the Advanced button. The Advanced Settings window will open.
4. If Print as Bitmap is checked, remove the checkmark. If Print as Bitmap is unchecked, then place a checkmark next to it.
5. After changing the setting, click OK.
6. Try printing the project again.
Note: Whether the Print as Bitmap feature is enabled or not depends on the compatibility of a particular printer with the program. Disabling the Print as Bitmap feature will not compromise the quality of the printed output.
