When you select a label layout on the Project Picker, then click on "Customize a QuickStart Layout", the pre-made label that opens does not always match the label layout you selected.
So, the first thing you'll want to do when the selected project opens on the workspace is to click on "Edit" in the menubar, select "Choose Label Stock" from the Edit menu, then select the desired label layout in the 'Select a Label Stock' window that opens.
