This game uses up 100% CPU all the time. Does not matter if I am playing it or if it is minimized. It causes the cooling fan to spin frantically. It drains my laptop battery at an alarming rate. Is there anything I can do?

Hi BusyMom2, Hoyle Card Games 2008 jumps to 100% CPU usage for me as well. The same thing also happens for all of my other Hoyle 2008 products. I'm afraid there's nothing you can do about that - other than using the AC adapter instead of the batteries.
