Ida -> Cutting off fonts (1/16/2008 9:12:31 AM)

Hi! I have used Calendar Creator for three years now and for the most part I have figured out everything (with your help). I have a lot of entries in my "birthday/event calendar." Sometimes after I print a page I notice some of the fonts are cut off, although it looks perfect on the screen. Any suggestions? I am using the 2005 version. Would there be any advantage to purchasing the latest version? I guess what I am asking is what are the enhancements lately?

Thank you very much for all your help.

Hi Ida,

Unfortunately, there would be little advantage to purchasing the latest version because, quite frankly, the latest version isn't much different from your 2005 version.

Before I can provide a proper suggestion for your problem, I *might* need more information. But, if your problem with the fonts being cut off is what I think it is, there should be an easy fix.

Any time I've ever seen cut off fonts in Calendar Creator is when the box holding the text was too short vertically. And, I have always been able to fix the problem by making the box taller.

For me, the problem with fonts being cut off occurs most often in the weekday boxes (i.e. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etc.). And, I've found that the weekday boxes don't always stay the same size from month to month. So, before I print a new calendar month, I always try to remember to check the size of the weekday boxes.

If this information does not help to solve your problem, please provide more specific details about exactly which fonts are being cut off, and where they are positioned on the page (i.e. are the fonts being cut off by the unprintable margins, maybe?).
