Hi, recently i've been having sound distortions that come and go. -using windows xp -Sound issues only on Hoyle Card Games Thanks for any help

Just disable the hardware acceleration by one notch to solve this issue. This problem happens a good portion of the time on Integrated graphics solutions but can happen on oddball no brand name sound cards of the pci nature as well.. To do this read about it here - - DirectX Diagnostic Tool
