scovens -> Calendar Creator 12 (ultimate), formatting won't stay put (11/17/2008 7:04:15 PM)

Please help. Using creator ultimate to create a church calendar in the wide 2 page template, I can get the photos that I want into the page, and I can change the border and background colors on the calendar side. However each time I make a change on either page, it effects the whole project. How can I make changes to either page and it stays, on that page only. If I reposition a photo on 1, the other photos on the other months move. If I change the calendar color lets say in November, the colors will also change in the other months, which of course is not what I want. Thanks....

Hi scovens,

Unfortunately, the answer to your question would have to be YOU CAN'T - because the problem you are experiencing is exactly how Calendar Creator was designed.

Whenever you change the border or the background/calendar colors on one calendar, the border and background/calendar colors will be changed for the whole project.

And, if the photos you are using are in Image Sets, whenever you reposition a photo on one calendar, the photo will be repositioned on all other calendars in that same project.

As for the photos, you can make sure that moving the photo on one page does not move the photos on all pages by inserting each photo individually (by way of the Add | Picture option) and NOT using Image Sets.

As to changing the border and background/calendar colors, there is only one fix that I know of that will prevent the changes from affecting all calendars. And, that fix would be to create a separate calendar project with a separate file for each month of your calendar.
