msmithy -> Import or Access Art CD content from older versions (1/12/2009 1:54:02 PM) I recently upgraded to Windows Vista and my beloved old and trusted Printmaster Platinum 7.0 stopped working due to compatibility. So I decided to 'upgrade' to the latest version of Printmaster. However the latest version require download of much of the Clip Art content. I'm traveling a lot and do not always have access to the Internet. Is it possible and how do I access and/or import my Art CDs from Printmaster 7 in the current version?

So, I'm afraid it is not possible to import your Art CDs from Printmaster 7 into the current version.

msmithy -> RE: Import or Access Art CD content from older versions (1/13/2009 7:33:29 AM) Well it does not happen often that the poster answers their own problem, but here it goes: It IS possible! Here is what you need to do: - Install new version of Printmaster with option to install all art onto the hard drive. - Copy all files in the 'Content' directory from the older version of Printmaster CDs/DVDs into the 'Content' folder of the new Printmaster installed on the hard drive. (i.e in the case of Printmaster Platinum 7 copy files in the 'Content' directory of the 'Install' CD, the 'Program' CD and all 7 'Art' CDs in the 'Content' directory of the install directory on the hard drive - while keeping new version files when duplicate file names exist) - Voila - enjoy access to ALL art from the old and new version of Printmaster.
