how do i shut off that ca-ching cash register noise off?

i've turned off sound effects, but that one still lingers.

Hi umaso,

The ca-ching sound is the sound that is played when you earn a Hoyle Rewards achievement. And, I'm afraid that there is no way to turn that ca-ching sound off in the Hoyle software. So, the only way to stop that sound would be to temporarily turn the volume off for your entire computer.

UPDATE:

Another user has provided a slightly different workaround for this problem on Vista computers. As can be seen in the attached image, on a Vista computer, it is possible to open the Volume Mixer then select which items in the Volume Mixer will be turned off. So, it is possible to turn off the sounds to Hoyle Puzzle and Board Games without turning off the volume for the entire computer.
