Brandy redux -> Changing the Start Date in a Year View (5/28/2009 11:08:16 AM)

Complete the following steps to change the Start Date of a Year view.

NOTE: At least one event must be displayed in the Year view before continuing with the procedure below.

1. If the Year view has more than one page, you must scroll to the first page before proceeding with the following steps.

2. Right-click on the text of any event on that first page then select 'Properties' in the menu that drops down. The 'Layout Object Properties' dialog box will open.

3. Click the 'Miscellaneous' tab.

NOTE: The 'Miscellaneous' tab will not be displayed until there is at least one event in the Year view. And, if there are only a few events in the Year view, the 'Miscellaneous' tab will not be displayed unless you right click directly on an event which is displayed in the Year view.

4. Locate the 'Number of Visible Months:' section, then click on the Quick Date box ( the box with ... at the bottom) to the right of the 'Start date: month/date' field.

5. When the Quick Date mini-calendar window opens, click on the desired Start Date on the mini-calendar. This date will be selected and the Quick Date dialog window will close.

6. Enter the number of months for the calendar range in the 'Number of Months:' field.

7. Click 'OK' to return to the Year view. The Start Date should now reflect the changes.
