raffeva -> Date and time on calendars (11/3/2009 6:28:54 AM)

In my job, I work with four calendars. On three of the calendars, the date and time appear at the bottom but on one, they do not. How do I get the date and time to appear on the screen as well as to print out on the calendar? (Printshop 23 was installed on my computer by a tecnical person; I do not know anything about program installation. This is strickly a functionality question.)

Hi raffeva,

Since the automatic date and time of a calendar in Print Shop 23 can be set up only in the Calendar Creator Express program that is bundled with Print Shop 23, I will assume that you are asking about calendars which are created by Calendar Creator Express. If you are not asking about calendars which are created with Calendar Creator Express, I am not aware of any way to add the automatic date and time to actual Print Shop 23 calendars.

To add the date and time to a Calendar Creator Express calendar, you would first create a text box - by selecting 'Add' in the menubar then selecting 'Text' in the menu that drops down. Then, you would click and drag to place a text box on the calendar. That will cause the Text Object Properties window to open.

On the Text Object Properties window, remove the word 'Text' or change it to whatever words that you would like to have displayed with the date and time. Then, click on the 'Functions' button. When the 'Functions' window opens, look in the box next to the word 'Topic' to make sure that 'Date' is displayed in that box. If 'Date' is not displayed in that box, click on the down arrow next to that box and select date.

Click on each of the options in the list on the right side of the window. Read the explanation for each item in the list. When you find the explanation that best suits your need, click on the 'Paste Function' button, then click on the 'OK' button.

When you are returned to the calendar workspace, click and drag to size the text box and position it in the desired location on the calendar.
