Brandy redux -> The current version of the application could not be determined (12/13/2009 1:25:00 PM)

Problem
Error message "The current version of the application could not be determined. The setup will terminate now."
Solution
* Click on the Start button.
* Click on Run.
* Type C:\Program Files\Common Files into the text box and press OK.
* Right-click on the InstallShield folder, and choose rename.
* Change the name to InstallShieldOld.
* Start the game installation again to reinstall the InstallShield components with the newest version.
