When you switch to the Year view, the CURRENT DATE seems to drive the calendar start month - in previous versions, you changed the monthly view to JAN, then switched to ANNUAL - and it was Jan-Dec

Hi fcherrmann,

Since you mentioned in another post on this forum that the previous version you are using is CC 3, that would explain why you are not seeing what you expect to see - because, as I explained in that other post, when Riverdeep/Broderbund purchased the rights to Calendar Creator, Calendar Creator was redesigned.

And, when the program was redesigned, the Year view was also redesigned.

To switch the Year view in CC 12.1 to a Jan-Dec view, you would do this:

1. Scroll to the left to the First page of the Year view.

NOTE: If all of the pages of your Year view will fit on the screen, there is no need to scroll. All you need to do is to right click on the events on that 1st page - making sure that you right click on the events and NOT on the calendars.

If all of the pages of your Year view DO NOT fit on the screen, you will need to use the scroll bar at the bottom of the window to scroll to the left to the 1st page.

2. Right click on the Events on that first page.

3. When the menu drops down, select 'Properties'.

4. When the 'Layout Object Properties' window opens, click on the 'Miscellaneous' tab.

5. On the 'Miscellaneous' tab, click on the ... box next to 'Start date: month/year:.

6. Click on either < or > to move to the desired January.

7. Click on one of the dates in January to close the calendar.
