Cannot proceed to lesson 14 (Full Version)

DoreenNorton -> Cannot proceed to lesson 14 (7/15/2010 3:27:15 PM) My daughter is using this program to learn to type. I have been happy with it so far. Since it is an old program and I have a relatively new program we sometimes have problems and have to get out of it and then reload it. But today we ran into a BIG problem. She did and passes lesson 13 twice but it will not allow her to go to lesson 14. I passed lesson 13 with 97% and 25 words per minute and it did not let us go to lesson 14. Is there a way to force the program to let you proceed? A secret file that can be modified or something like that. Please help soon. We are trying to teach her to type before school starts back in 3 weeks. Thank you.

Brandy redux -> RE: Cannot proceed to lesson 14 (7/15/2010 3:52:55 PM) Hi Doreen, I am very sorry to have to tell you this; but, there is no way to tweak the system to force it to go to Lesson 14. However, as can be seen on this web site SpongeBob SquarePants Typing Lessons 14, 15, 16 & 17 teach only numbers. So, the fact that you cannot go to Lesson 14 might be related in some way to the type of keyboard you are using and the Num Lock setting for that keyboard (if the keyboard has a 10-key pad). However, I am only guessing here - because, since Spongebob Squarepants Typing is so old, I do not have access to it. I would recommend that you check the links on the web site I mentioned above - especially the 'Ask Our Expert' link - to see if you can find a solution to your problem on that web site.
