I just purchased printshop 2.0 professional and do not see how to remove backgrounds from photos. My goal is to remove the background from around the person in the picture so I can layer the photo on top of a created background. The product box gives the impression that this is possible. I do not see free hand cropping either. Assistance is greatly appreciated.

This program cannot make custom selections, so it is not possible to trace around a person in order to remove the background. I think the free photo-editing program GIMP can do what you want as I am told it rivals Adobe PhotoShop Elements.
