Hi jkiu86,
Yes, the default in CC 12 Deluxe is Center-Alignment for all events. And, it is not possible to change the default for all events.
However, it is possible to change the default for each Category of events in CC 12 Deluxe.
To do so:
1. Click on 'Events' in the menu bar, then select 'Categories' in the menu that drops down.
2. Click on the name of the Category that you would like to change, then click on the 'Event Properties' window.
NOTE: Since all new events will initially be assigned to the 'General' category, it might be best to select that category first.
3. When the Properties window opens for the selected Category, click on the 'Left Justified' button.
4. Click on OK to return to the calendar.
5. Repeat the process with the other categories.
