Problem:

A problem occurred while initializing the data application: you may have to repair this installation. Details: <UserDbAccessFailure>

Solution:

Windows Vista and Windows 7

1. Go to Control Panel, then select 'Folder Options'

2. Click on the 'View' tab

3. Under 'Advanced settings', click in the circle next to 'Show hidden files, folders, and drives', then click on 'OK' - to place a mark in that circle.

4. Navigate to this folder:

C:\Users\{your username}\AppData\Local\The Print Shop\The Print Shop 2.0

Or, perform the following to reach that folder:
    a. Click on 'Start', then select 'Computer'

    b. Click on '(C:) Drive'

    c. When the window opens, double-click on the 'Users' folder on the right side of the window.

    d. Double-click on your username folder

    e. Double-click on the 'AppData' folder

    f. Double-click on the 'Local' folder

    g. Double-click on the 'The Print Shop' folder

    h. Double-click on 'The Print Shop 2.0' folder

5. Right-click the file named 'userData.psDb' then select 'Rename' in the menu that drops down.

Rename the file with this name: userdata.old

Windows XP

1. Go to Control Panel, then select 'Folder Options'

    b. Double-click on '(C:) Drive'

    c. Double-click on 'Documents and Settings'

    d. Double-click on your username folder

    e. Double-click on the 'Local Settings' folder

    f. Double-click on the 'Application Data' folder

    g. Double-click on the 'The Print Shop' folder

    h. Double-click on 'The Print Shop 2.0' folder

5. Right-click the file named 'userData.psDb' then select 'Rename' in the menu that drops down.

Rename the file with this name: userdata.old
