Brandy redux -> Why is the text in Print Shop 2.0 newsletters in a foreign language? (2/19/2011 3:23:18 PM)

The latin-like text which is included in the Print Shop 2.0 newsletter templates has been the printing industry's standard for fake, or dummy, text for many years. As a matter of fact, the same latin-like text appears in Microsoft Word online Help. The "Lorern ipsum dolor sit amet" phrase - which is found in the Print Shop 2.0 newsletter templates - has been used for several centuries by typographers to show the most distinctive features of their fonts. It is used because the letters involved and the letter spacing in those combinations reveal, at their best, the weight, design, and other important features of the typeface.
