Ok, probably a stupid question. I bought some project packs from Printmaster and loaded them into my Platinum 2011, now I can't find them to use them. Help!

Not a stupid question at all. The way the packs are installed into the program is [:'(]

Try looking in the PrintMaster Folder for another folder called "Components".

Packs get broken apart and stored in different folders according to whether the items are considered papers, projects, clipart, etc., so they're spread all over!

You may find some of your purchase when you choose from Backgrounds| Paper ...; some when you open ClipArt| Embellishments...

When I did find the one Folder that contained the entire pack, I made copies and saved them in multiple locations. You can always do an import from one of these locations rather than trying to find pieces from inside the program.

Another reason to make a duplicate folder of your purchase: If you lose your program, you lose your pack!

I originally bought some papers called Asian Spring Earthy which downloaded to my older PM2.0. I replaced 2.0 with 2011. Forgot to take Asian Spring Earthy out of 2.0 when I uninstalled it. Aargh.

This got me to thinking... I logged into my account and there was a list of my previous purchases. I was able to re-download the Asian Spring Earthy collection! Yay! And I now have the option to do a "general" download, rather than download into the application.

By downloading to my external hard drive, I can access the PNG and JPG files for use in all of my photo-editing programs.

I know where the packs are loaded on my computer. I'm not finding anything in PM that says components. I do have multiple copies of the packs saved, so I'm not concerned about losing them at this point, just using them.

Ok, I figured it out!! I wasn't finding where to find them on PM, but I got it! Thanks so much!!

You're welcome! Your post spurred me onto checking into my account so not only did I get back my papers, but I also got some more excellent product with a promo coupon. It's really nice that they reward their customers with the occasional promo gift. I made this with the downloaded products.
