The professional printer I use always asks me to make a .25 bleed margin so they can crop pages for full color. How do I do it on 23 or 23.1?

  • In the Print Setup, select the PDF printer.
  • Change the paper size to height: 9, width 11.5.
  • Design your brochure past the edges, keeping in mind that .25 inch on all four sides will be cut off.
  • Print (or save) to PDF.

This assumes, a landscape brochure of finished size, 11x8.5 and that you meant a .25 bleed on all four sides.
