Brandy redux -> Mail Merge may not work if First Name field contains special text characters (2/17/2012 9:54:15 PM)

If any of the First Name fields in your Address Book contains a special text character in the first space of the name - such as the quote in "B" Sue Jones - the mail merge process *might* not set up correctly. However, the mail merge process will sometimes print exactly as desired - even with the special text character.

Regardless of whether or not the First Name field contains a special text character, the First Name and Last Name will be displayed correctly after you click on the 'Merge Names' button on the 'Print' window. However, the names will not always be properly transferred to the mail merge text box. When/If that happens, the only known fix is to review ALL First Name fields in the Address Book, then remove any special text characters that you find.
