PM 2012: Minimum System Requirements

NOTE: If you are not connected to the Internet before you open PM 2012, you will receive a message similar to the one below

If you choose to ignore that message - by clicking on 'OK' - you will find that, when you attempt to open projects or images which are installed on your hard drive, you will receive java error messages. And, those java error messages will prevent PM 2012 from running correctly.

Windows® XP (Home & Pro) SP3, Windows Vista® SP2, Windows® 7¹
Pentium® IV 1.6 GHz or better (2 GHz recommended) or comparable AMD Processor
1GB RAM available (2 GB RAM or more recommended
2 GB required for Windows Vista® and Windows® 7 users)
Available Hard Disk Space: Installation disc requires approximately 2.7 GB;
downloadable content can require up to 36 GB of hard drive space
Internet connection required to access content
16 MB Video RAM (64 MB video RAM recommended)
DVD-ROM drive
keyboard and mouse
Monitor resolution:1024 x 768 or higher (1152 x 864 or higher recommended)
QuickTime® version 7.5.0 or higher is recommended (Available at www.quicktime.com)
Java™ version 6 or higher required (available at www.java.com).
Recommended Additional Equipment: Printer, Digital Camera.

NOTE: Due to 1) a compatibility issue between Apple’s new Mac OS X 10.7 Lion Operating System and Java and 2) a permissions change on the /Library/Application Support/ folder in Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, PrintMaster 2012 cannot be installed on Mac OS X 10.7 Lion until the patch is downloaded.

Please do keep in mind, however, that both PrintMaster Platinum 2012 & PrintMaster Gold 2012 can be successfully installed on Mac OS X 10.5 & 10.6 without the need for a patch.
