While Hoyle Puzzle and Board games 2009 installs as it should in Windows 8 , it is unfortunately too unstable for everyday casual use and the Big Bang games constantly crash. The Contraptions Game still works. Unfortunately some games play for 5 minutes and then don't work at all and Hoyle Puzzle and Board Games stops working.
I am afraid that this particular version of Hoyle Puzzle and Board Games should be skipped on Windows 8. If you have different results , please email me through my profile and discuss your experience, I would love to hear about it.
