Supagran -> PDF documents (2/12/2013 2:49:46 AM)

Hi I am using Printshop 23.1 and Windows 7 and have saved a project in PDF so that i could share it with other people but i now need to work on it but altough i can imput it wont let me edit it. Is there any way that i can convert it so that i can reuse it.

i have tried everyway i know how but no success and Adobe want to me to pay for a download but this only allows me to change it into a Word Document and i want to use it in Printshop.

if you can help i would be most grateful.

Jeanette

Unfortunately, PDFs created from PS23.1 are just a flat image file with no editable text or individual graphics.

Print Shop cannot open/edit any PDF. That Adobe download you mentioned will not be able to convert your PDF into an editable Word doc because your PDF does not have embedded fonts.

Always save your original PS project file for future editing. It is the only file format that PS can open and edit.

Generally, PDFs cannot be edited. A special program (such as Corel PDF Fusion or Adobe Acrobat) can open a PDF and export it as a Word doc. You would then edit the doc file in Word. The new Word doc is then converted to a new PDF.

If the PDF did not have embedded fonts, the resulting Word doc will not contain any text.
