DSIB -> Postcard (2/13/2013 3:16:58 PM)

I am trying to make a custom size postcard. I created the custom paper using the wizard and then made the card. Everything looks fine but when I go to the print preview or try to print, it comes out in portrait and I need landscape. I have tried changing all the orientation settings in the program and the computer but it does not help. I am using an HP printer and have seen problems with HP and Printshop. Could this be the issue?
Thanks!

To help you, I need to know:

Print Shop 23.1 or Print Shop 3.0?
Size of paper stock: 8.5x11 or smaller?
Single print or multiple prints per sheet?

Sorry, I have 23.1. I am using an HP C4580 printer and Windows 7 if that helps.
Thanks again for any advise you can give...

The paper is 8 1/2 by 11 and each page has 4 cards. They are not the standard size postcard, they are about 5.437 wide by 3.50 high.

Thanks

A 4-to-a-page postcard project must be defined as 2 columns, 2 rows, width: the smaller number, height: the larger number.

The thumbnail image of the stock should look portrait orientation. The individual postcard on the workspace will look landscape and the individual cards will print correctly as landscape.

Edit your custom postcard stock so that the postcard height is 5.437

I had to tweak the position of some of the text boxes to get them centered on the final print but it worked.
Thank you very much for your help! It saved me a lot of aggravation!

Very glad to help. Any time you create a custom paper with this program, give the height measurement the larger number. The program knows to "rotate" when landscape printing is required.
