I have been playing for a year or so, mostly in table games and slots. Today my "$" balance went over a billion. Got a screen message that 999 million was placed in a "retirement" account and my playing balance was reduced to 1 million. I don't know how to get the 999 million back, and I suspect that the loss is due to reaching a balance exceeding 9 digits. Any one know how I can recover my ill-gotten gains?
The game was never programmed to handle an amount over that , so the programmers did something clever so the game does not crash. Unfortunately you will have to work from scratch again.
I was a programmer and this is nothing except bad analysis and lack of foresight by the programmers. Another couple of digits in the element description can't possibly hurt anything. It is the same as when the programmer (probably the same one) left out a leading zero in the element description and ".075" is displayed as ".75". This tells me that the coder thinks 7.5% is the same as 75%. Hope the coder never worked on a banking system!!!!
I have a similar question. I just upgraded from Casino 2008 to 2013. I had a balance just under 100 million, but after the upgrade my balance was reset to the default of $5,000.00. Is there anything that can be done to recover my previous balance?

Profiles are different systems altogether. Your faces might transfer but your balance won't
