SB52 -> Printing Address Book (5/2/2013 9:17:10 AM)

I have had many versions of Print Shop, but the last two have me pulling my hair out. I have all the addresses in and i'm trying to print it in booklet form (as I have done in the past). However, I have set up and save the layout several times. It won't print my saved layout. I can not even find it when I go back in. So, I have to start all over again, and again, and again. When it did print it printed what it wanted and not what I had layed out. What is wrong with Print Shop 22 and 23.1?[:@]

Are you printing directly from the UMM? Or are you doing a mail merge project in PrintShop?

I print a booklet of my addresses using this UMM print option:

Hi ellengard,
I'm printing from UMM. It gives me an option to "Save" the layout, but it doesn't. I have tried to save the layout several times, but where did it go. I have never had this issue with older versions of Print Shop. Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
SB52

Printing from UMM is separate from PrintShop. There is nothing that can be done in PrintShop to change how UMM works.

I can't save custom layouts in UMM either. It's possible you were able to do so on an older operating system than Win7 (which is what I am using).

UMM is a very old program - 15 years? Unfortunately, the development of the UMM software ended years ago so there is no tech support for it.

At least I can still print all my addresses in booklet form with the default settings.

thanks for your help. I found my old version of Print Shop 12 that works with XP. I was able to format my address book, just like I had several years ago. I'm a happy camper again.[:D]
