Many thanks for all your help, have now sorted the problem but think I shall be buying a more up to date Printmaster for the future!!
Hopefully Printmaster 18.1 is very similar to the one I have - Platinum 16.
Is this the one you would advise, does it have the same things and is it compatible with Windows 7 ?

Yes, 18.1 is Win7 compatible and is also similar to 16. You'll be able to open your old projects in 18.1. You will not be able to open your old projects in PrintMaster 2012 or later.
