wordwonk -> Importing early files into V8 (8/16/2013 5:34:31 PM)

I just installed Calendar Creator 8.0 onto a 64-bit Windows 7 system. I can open one or two .ce3 files, but not a .cc3 file. CCreator just hangs. I'd like to be able to create a calendar with events from eight .ce3 files. Is this doable? Should I save the .ce3 or .cc3 files in some other format first? (I realize I'm dealing with old software, but it was running on an old PC; I'd prefer not to have to buy V12.1.)

I have not used a version of Calendar Creator earlier than version 10, so I'm not of much help on this issue.

You might review this list of files created by earlier versions.

It could be that your best option will be to export events to a generic format (e.g., .csv) to import into another version. You would lose a lot of features in that process, however.

Whatever you do, save versions of your current files before trying imports/exports, etc.

Perhaps another person on the forum has used the older versions and can give better advice.
