ORIGINAL: AlissaJo8 ... our logo has a white background. However, the background on the brochure I am trying to make is blue. Sorry, this program cannot select areas for deletion, nor can it select areas for re-coloring. Go back to your boss and ask for the logo file with the transparent background, probably PNG format. The one you have is probably JPG and JPGs don't support transparency. Any competent graphic designer creates logos in both formats so that the logo can be put on any colored background. If the logo work was purchased from the designer, there should be a PNG version as well. As a workaround, import the logo to Word or PowerPoint and remove the white background, then save the edited image as PNG with transparency OR put a matching blue background behind the edited image. Save as JPG. Now you have something you can bring into PrintMaster. HOWEVER, the quality of the image you made in Word or PP may not be satisfactory. I am unfamiliar with those programs ability to save at high resolutions. Another workaround: Use any stand-alone photo-editing program to remove the background and save as PNG with transparency. PhotoShop Elements, for example.
