One more question. I am use to working as I said before with Printshop 23.1 Deluxe and when I worked with photos I really liked ( and used often) the "special effects" where you could soften the edges. I can't find this in Printshop 3.5 Professional. Am I missing something or did they leave out that wonderful feature?? If they left it out is there a "work about" to acheive the same effect?[;)]

Unfortunately, 3.5 does not have a soften edges feature. As a workaround, the Wrinkle Remover in the Image Editor, acts like a blurring brush. Hope that can work for you.

well that is SAD I tried something like that unsuccessfully but will work at it some more. Thanks for being so helpful and patient with me!

Printshop 23.1 Deluxe runs on Win7. You can do the edge softening in that program, then export the edited photo as JPG and import the JPG to 3.5.

Okay I think I must be DULL I have Windows 7 on this computer (my laptop) and on my Store computer I have Windows Vista Home. I'm not sure where to find the feature for blurring the edges on a photo hmm guess I need more help...blind I am...sigh[:(]

In v23.1, right-click your photo, choose Apply Special Effect, then Soft Edges. Is this what you are trying to remember?

Oh no I READ your message wrong....brother sorry I remember that and use/used that all of the time...I was trying to figure out the work-about and THOUGHT you were saying there was something else in Win7 SORRY guess I have to live with this. The reason I upgraded was just in case I end up with a new computer that won't support 23.1 version I wanted to be prepared since I use it for EVERYTHING in my store

I have the Print shop 3.5 Deluxe just found out there is no Tables, so mad even called company, to vent. I need tables but refuse to buy another copy. I found a solution I think, so I reinstalled my Printshop 23.1. I had saved some files on a flash drive and found my items with tables moved them to the printshop 3.5 and saved. Question is do I need to leave the 23.1 installed? I could not get the files for some reason until I installed the 23.1 version. Any help?

Yes, leave 23.1 installed so that you can continue using it for its features that are not found in 3.5 Deluxe.

3.5 can open projects made in 23.1, BUT not everything is converted over, such as special effects. It is not necessary to have 23.1 installed for 3.5 to open one of its projects, so I have no explanation.
