Address book sort order (Full Version)

When I pull up my address book it is in some weird order.....and I can click on last name and it then sorts them temporarily but there is no way to save this order? and then when I pull it in for mail merge of course it's all out of order. I don't know how it got out of order to begin with! Anyhone know of a way to sort it and keep it that way? My address book in Print Shop 23 was in order and that's what I brought over to 3.5, altho it was by Last name only which is fine

Unfortunately, the sort cannot be saved. Sorting in the Address Book helps us find a particular contact, but the sorting doesn't apply to the printing order.
