JoyH -> Windows 7 64 bit not recognizing Print Shop 22 files (3/31/2014 3:43:46 PM)

I had to reinstall Print Shop 22 on Windows 7 64 bit computer and now I cannot open my saved Print Shop files directly from My Documents. When I try and open them I'm told Windows doesn't recognize the .nws (newsletter for example) file. I can open the files directly from Print Shop. When I try to change the file association for Print Shop files, none of the Print Shop file extentions show up in the association list. Also, Print Shop does not show up in the Default Programs list. Sure would like to get this back to the way it was as everything was working just fine before the reinstall. I also can't convert to a PDF file now and the PDF converter download didn't work either. I'm still working on this one, but my frustration level is rising. Thanks for any help.

JoyH

File extensions aren't supposed to show up. Program names show up. Choose the program you want to open the file.

Select 'Choose Default Program...' then click the Browse button and find the program's exe file. Look in C:\Program Files (x86)\The Print Shop 22.

Here's a tech article regarding that:

Alternatively, you can download and install a superior PDF writer from here:
