Opening v12 projects with V6 Platinum

I have a lot of saved projects from V12. I just upgraded (after uninstalling v12), and am unable to open these projects in v6 Platinum. Is there no backwards compatibility?

Do you mean PrintMaster 2012? If so, yes, these projects can be opened in 6.0. If you mean PrintMaster 12, then no. That version is too old.
