New Font Not Available

I installed a new font, but I don't see it as a font option within PS 23.1 Is there a trick? The new font is showing up in Word.

PS 23.1 can access only .ttf fonts. So, if the font you installed does not have a .ttf extension, you won't be able to use it in PS 23.1.
