adding photo's from a folder

I am very satisfied with my choice to change my PM 18.1 to PM v6, however, I am having a problem adding photos from a file folder. I can see all the photos that are in my picture file outside of a folder but I cannot open my folders to pull photo's from them. How would I be able to do this?

Double-click the folder.
