PS 3.5 with Windows 8

I hope this does not show up twice! Can't see the post I just listed so i will try again! I hope someone can help me. I just installed PrintShop 3.5 onto my new laptop that used Windows 8. I cannot get any of my PS 23 projects to open. I get a message that says" 's' is an unexpected token. Expecting white space 4. Position 344." Of course the position number changes with each project i tried to open. I have used PrintShop since version 1. I still need many of these projects. Can anyone help? Thanks much Char

That is what I did and they will still not import. Still get the 's' message. Was hoping to get a solution. Char
